Feelin' Good!

For those of you who actually know me on a personal level, you know that I have Narcolepsy. You will also know that I have been struggling with tiredness every day and my job (and paychecks) have been effected greatly by this. The Dr.'s have been trying to figure out the correct dosage of medicine to see if it will help and that has been a great frustration to me (especially when nothing seems to be working!)

Good news - I think it's finally working! I have so much energy today and I feel good. I didn't once even think about being tired. Although tonight I might go home and sit on the couch and veg, at least I made it through the day without having to talk myself through it (AND with only 1 cup of Cappuccino!!) I hope it sticks and this isn't a fluke. I'm ready to conquer the world and do the things I was never able to do without taking a nap half way through... or maybe just enjoy life a little more with a clear head!

I hate having to take medicine everyday, but if it makes me feel "normal" (or something close to it) then I'm stoked!

It's a good day :-)

Thanks Stacy :-)

Here is the deal: The first four people to comment on this post will get something made by me.
My choice.
For you.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year.
4- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be photography, I may sew or paint something. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5- I reserve the right to do something extremely creative.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your own blog and offer the same deal to 4 of your own lucky blog readers. So, the first 4 people to leave a comment telling me they are in, win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it.

Potential Careers

1) A Cop... So I can stop traffic on the freeway by swerving in and out of all the lanes for no particular reason. Oh, and so I can carry a gun at all times.

2) I can't think of anything else right now.

iPhone Apps

iPhone apps are awesome, and I love sitting at work all day and discovering new things I can do with my phone, BUT some apps are completely worthless. For example, if you have an iPhone, please never download Ping pong 3D. It is completely stupid and it doesn't work. I have been playing it on and off for the past 2 days and I can't win! So either my ping pong skills are rusty, which is an absolutely false statement, or this game sucks.

That is all

Sick and tired of being sick and tired!

I am so freakin sick of being sick all the time. Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. I go home from work constantly and I'm losing so much money... This isn't working. I'm 23 and I'm falling apart. I wish I had a picture from yesterday's sick day. I looked like the walking dead. I can't even imagine what I'm gonna be like in 10 years. God help me!
Oh ya - facebook is retarded but I kind I like it cause I am half retarded.
Ok going into a Toastmasters meeting now...

Scrapbookin'

I know that the scrap booking frenzy is supposed to be reserved for women over 50, but I just can't help myself! I was introduced to this wonderful past time by my friend and co-worker, Raquel, and I just can't thank her enough.. it's addicting! I received my first batch of scrap booking stuff for Christmas, and now I can't even tell you how much money I have spent. I have bags and books and a rolling cart organizer filled to the brim! Right now I am working on two things: 1) I have three pages left to finish for my book about my trip with Johnny to his home country of Spain in 2007 and 2) Raquel and I are doing a pregnancy journal for our friend, Crystal, who's 9 weeks pregnant. I keep drawing a blank though so I need some help from Raquel. She's coming over tonight to work on it.
Anyways, you should visit your local scrap store and see what it's all about. I made fun of people for doing it until I realized it's such an awesome way to document special times in our lives. I was surprised when I went to the Scrap booking Expo at the OC Fairgrounds last month... there were a lot of young people so I didn't feel that bad (by a lot I mean about 10, but that's more than I expected!)
